REGULAR PROGRAMS

Artists’ Night Out will start on February 14 and continue on the second Tuesday evening of each month.  The library Program Room will be open to anyone who draws or paints.  Bring your work in progress and meet fellow artists!  Artists’ Night Out will take place from 6-9 p.m.  (Please note: participants must bring a dropcloth or tarp to protect the library’s furnishings, and containers to remove used brushes and equipment.  Water will be available, but cleanup should be done at home.  Only water-based paint will be allowed.)

Open Mike is on the third Tuesday of each month. Open Mike is for acoustic musicians, but enthusiastic audience members are always welcome! Hosted by Dan and Faith Senie. Signups at 6:30 p.m. and music at 7.

Local History Discussion Group with Roger Breeze meets on the first and second Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. 

Genealogy instruction is the third Wednesday of each month, also at 1 p.m.

Stitch & Sip meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m.  Open to anyone with a needlework project and to all skill levels. 

First Thursdays @ the Library lecture series, sponsored by the Friends of the Bolton Public Library (and, occasionally, made possible in part by a grant from the Bolton Cultural Council). Each program begins at 7 p.m.

Friends of the Bolton Public Library meet on the second Thursday evening of each month starting at 7:30 p.m.

Sup & Share is a joint effort between Bolton Local and the Library. It’s always on the third Thursday of each month. Join us for a light supper at 6:30 p.m. (bring your own plate and utensils), followed by a program and discussion at 7. Bolton Local is devoted to increasing awareness of sustainable living and development of local resources.

Senior Book Group meets in the Program Room on the fourth Thursday each month, starting at 6:15 p.m.

Thursday, March 1, 7 p.m.: First Thursdays at the Library**: Craig John, mountaineer, discusses his adventures in the vertical world including Everest, Kilimanjaro, Ranier, and Denali.

Thursday, April 5, 7 p.m.: First Thursdays at the Library**: Roger “Hammer” Tetrault’s presentation about his thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail.
